Dr. Hamid Mortazavi, M.D.

Dr. Mortazavi earned his medical degree at the Medical University of Kermanshah in Iran. Before coming to the United States, Dr. Mortazavi worked as a clinical trial coordinator with the Montréal Chest Institute in Montréal, Canada. He completed an internship and a three-year residency in Neurology with The University of South Alabama in Mobile. During two years of his residency, Dr. Mortazavi served as Chief Resident. He joined Wesley Neurology in 2006 with three years experience in private practice. Dr. Mortazavi’s research experience included a study in pediatric migraine treatment, for which he received a recognition award at the Annual Southern Pediatric Society meeting. Dr. Mortazavi is fluent in Farsi, English, and French.
